What is a blog?
A blog (short for “web log”) is a web page that is used like a journal to provide regular news and updates. Posts are listed chronologically with the newest posts on top. Users can leave comments or questions on a specific topic or post.
How do I find posts on a specific topic?
On the right hand side, there is a list of categories – Click on the category that describes the post(s) that you are looking for.
Who can use this blog?
Anyone can view this blog and write a comment. At this time only Guild Board members can create new posts.
How Do I Post a Comment?
At the end of each post is a line starting with “Posted in…”. Click on the word “Comments”. This will take you to a new page that shows the post followed by some boxes for you to fill in. Type in your name and email address in the boxes so labeled. Type in your comment in the larger box. When you are done, click on the “Submit Post” comment.
Please note: we request your email address in order to discourage spammers. Your email address will not be displayed or disclosed.
I have some news I’d like to share, how do I create a new post?
Although only Guild Board members can create new posts, we encourage members to submit news (upcoming shows, awards, work in progress, for example) or topics of interest to either Mary Ingels or Evelyn Grala. One of us will post it for you.
I am still confused about this blog business. Where can I find more help?
Contact Mary Ingels for assistance – I’m glad to help and hope to see lots of members participating in our blog.
Welcome to the Nature Artists’ Guild blog. Here you will find information about meetings and events and can download documents such as prospectuses and calendars. Feel free to post a comment.
